Classic Fish BBQ Grilled.

 


Grilled fish refers to a method of cooking fish where it is cooked over direct heat, usually on a grill or barbecue. It is a popular way to prepare fish as it imparts a smoky flavor and lends a beautiful charred texture to the fish.


Classic Fish BBQ Grilled.


Ingredients:


1 Any fish of your choice like Tilapia or Cat fish

A medium size of Ginger

5 Cloves of Garlic

About a handful of fresh Peppers. (Or as you desire )

1 lage onion

A handful of fresh paprika (shombo remove the seeds)

A handful of Parsley

1 Green Bell Pepper

1 Red Bell Pepper

4 stock cubes

1 tablespoon of Suya Spice

1/2 cup of Vegetable

2 medium Lemon 

A tea spoon of soy sauce

Preparation:


1. Prepared your fish very well, if you are using tilapia descale the fish, wash and pad dry, give some the slash cut both side of the fish so that marinette can penetrate all over the fish. 


2.If it's catfish; watch your fish with salt and lukewarm water or lime or alum to remove the slime from the fish. Make sure you have a firm grip of the fish, that shows that your catfish is thoroughly watch, then give some slash but not too deep so as not to fallout during grilling, on each side of the fish.



3. Blend the ginger, garlic, peppers, onions, shombo, parsley, green pepper,  stock cube, suya spice lemon juice, soy sauce and vegetable oil till all is coarsely blended.


3. Marinade all over the fish and inside the slits as well and allow to sit for about an hour or 2.


4. Prepared your griller rack and   oil that as well. Place your seasoned fish in  griller and  grill.   


5.Flip the fish on an interval to grill evenly in the course of grilling it can take 35 to 50 minutes to properly cook, make sure you pour some marinade on each side as you flip.


6. Once fish is cooked, serve it hot with the blended marinade (optional), extra onions, green pepper and any other garnish like cabbage. 


7.If it's takeaway, as the fish is getting done place it in foil rap it neatly and set aside close to hits to keep the temperature warm. 


If you are combining it with fries, make sure that the fries is warm as well so as to retain  hited with with the fish and also add little of the sauce to the fish while rapping.


Same process with grilled chicken. 


Only you will not need to slit the chicken just marinette exactly as you did with the chicken, grilled it the same, but use chicken seasoning for chicken and fish seasoning for fish.


Also make sure that yours eyes is on fire so to maintain and control the fire , because a little mistake can damage your protein as is prone to burnt due to oil present in the meat. 


Please Note: Use Fish seasoning for Fish Chicken seasoning for chicken same thing with Beef.
